About
I am full-time staff photographer at the Reading Eagle, in Reading PA, covering news, sports and a multitude of other assignments. Recently more of my work has included multimedia, such as audio slide shows and video presentations. My freelance base includes weddings and a variety of other clients.
I received a B.A. in Photography from Penn State University in 2006 and spent much of my time working at the student-run newspaper, The Daily Collegian. Throughout my time there, I served as Chief Photographer, Managing Editor of Design, and Graphics Editor, all of which helped me become a better visual journalist.
My work has garnered multiple awards from the Columbia Scholastic Press Association, Pennsylvania Newspaper Association, and National Press Photographers Association.
With a passion for photography, personal events are often encountered with a camera in hand. My free time is regularly spent outdoors kayaking, camping, sports and enjoying all sorts of adventures; snapping photos along the way.
